Injured All Blacks utility back Richard Kahui is set to return to rugby in three to four weeks' time, All Blacks Doctor Deb Robinson says.
25-year-old Kahui saw a shoulder specialist in Auckland yesterday after injuring his right shoulder in the All Blacks first Investec Tri Nations Test win over the Springboks in Auckland ten days ago.
"Richard sustained a small fracture of the shoulder socket but the good news is that the injury is stable and improving rapidly and, at this stage, he doesn't require surgery," Dr Robinson said.
"Richard is now concentrating on strengthening work and rehabilitation and we will monitor him with an aim of getting him back into rugby in three to four weeks' time," Dr Robinson added.
The All Blacks will assemble in Melbourne this weekend to prepare for the first Test against Australia on Saturday 31 July, with the return Test against Australia the following weekend in Christchurch, on Saturday 7 August.
